The Thing Show

The Thing Show is a live show which I hosted from 2018 to 2019. A Tv show with an audience but no camera, the guests are sculptures invited to solve a very big question such as anxiety, love, ego or more particular subjects such as the antidesign movement and its founder Joe Colombo. Once on set, the sculptures and I engage in an array of suppositions working towards the disentanglement of our problem. Each sculpture grants the experience of its materiality and its character’s moods to the resolution the plot. The Thing Show : Ego aspires to once and for all solve the psychological and philosophoical matter of the ego through a joyous heuristic quest combining magician act, stand-up comedy and experimental philosophy.
